Where Summer Lives is an artistic photography project about childhood memories, the connection between humans and nature, and the bright moments that shape our country’s cultural code. The series reminds us that childhood is not a time, but a state of mind, and perhaps the most honest and pure thing we are capable of preserving within ourselves.
The project explores the theme of personal and collective memory through the poetics of simple images. Each photograph brings to life the archetype of Russian summer—as a symbol of homeland, purity, and inner freedom. The project aims to remind us of the value of childhood, family, home, and nature as the fundamental foundations of national identity. This project combines visual poetry and social significance, awakening in the viewer not only emotions, but also an inner awareness of the value of childhood, nature, and memory as the foundation of the future.
