Fragile Geometry
2025
The photo project explores the body as a plastic form, as a landscape, transforming the intimate into the abstract. Its folds, curves, and reliefs become abstract compositions where familiar associations disappear and the pure geometry of human vulnerability emerges.
In this project, the body appears not as a familiar object of gaze, but as a topographical map, a surface full of unknown lines and intersections. There is no eroticism in this view, but there is a desire to rethink the boundaries of intimacy and transform it into an abstract landscape. The photographs create the sensation of traveling through unknown terrain — the viewer can get lost in the curves of the back or the folds of skin, as if in a ridge or a gorge. This visual experience destroys the usual perception of the body and offers another way — to see it as matter, texture, space. Black-and-white photography plays a key role here: color is eliminated to make room for the play of light and shadow, for a careful look at texture and volume. Fragile Geometry is an invitation to contemplation, to a slow gaze that transforms the body into art, and art into a new way of seeing the body.
